Designing Quality in interaction group:
form and senses:
- The senses: learn how to interact with these senses.
sound
tast
sight
smell
touch
learn the design world:
stefano marzano
watch zomergasten, daan roosegaarde
affordance: based on the effectivity that we have we can see oportunities in the envirionment., invide poeple to have a certain behaviour.
being in the world: how we learn, how could u use your body an skills to accomplice things
freedom of interaction: why do we move like we do, why do we have to do everything the same way.
rich interaction: couple form interaction and and function in one way.
aesthetic interaction: how do you get aesthetics, (not only the form) aestetics with interaction--> what kind of ligthing should i use, shoeld it flicker?? enz.
resonance:how do you know if a product resonates? how can you make a product that resonates
interaction frogger: how do you know if people will interact with it, how do you determain how you will interact with it. , how do you make a int people interact with your product. look it up( its a scheme) how do you givegood feedback / feed foreward.
inherent feedforward: example pen for stressyou do not always have to be aware of stuff to interact with it.
peripheral interaction: instead of getting all these signals, wh things that are not really present but you can still interact with it. not everything has to be extremely present.
acoustic awareness. : how do you use sound to interact, how does sound influence your interaction
material sense:intelligent materials, interaction with materials. what are the possibilities with materials, what are the functions and aesthatics of materials.
interactive materiality:
kansei design: sensitiveties and subtleties.. chinees or japans design.
perceptual crossing: crossing between filosofie en perception, how do you make people aware of the fact that the product is inteligent, how do you make users know that the system understands you.
making and craftmanship: making and prototyping --> you can really make people interact. craftmanship : urge for quality a thrife to make things with quality

keep track of your planning and prioritising
arrange meetings with experts (> document it well)
focus on things you can change instead of things you cant change, (locus of control)
reflect and document everything very good.
arrange meeting with group members, have more structured meetings, make dropbox with each other. do something with the notes you make, document them, orginize the dummy.
SMART GOALS: dont make it pointwise make little storys, what do i want to learn how do i want to approve them.

reflection:
build up: \i did this, what was it about, what did i learned from it, future what new stuff do i want to learn.
consistance: what went bad what went good, how can you apply your experiences, what do you want to learn more.

integrating technology 17/9/2013
integrating technology
being able to explore, prototype, create and demonstrate innovative concepts and experiences using technology. Analysing the technical and economic feasibility of complex designs in which technology is integrated. Moveover, one needs to understand scientific writings and to be able to communicate with engineers and researchers of other diciplines.
Skills:
sparkfun.com
knowledge:
creative electronics
creative programming
cross section integrating technology
being able to explore, prototype, create and demonstrate innovative concepts and experiences using technology. Analysing the technical and economic feasibility of complex designs in which technology is integrated. Moveover, one needs to understand scientific writings and to be able to communicate with engineers and researchers of other diciplines.
challenges:
companies keep their thechnology secret (block competitors)
expensive industrial processes
techno is embedded and hidden for end-users( signal processes are in the smartphones, but users wont see it.
solutions:
open source hardware and open software (open source processing communities)
cooperation with high-tech companies (they can fund your project, or help with technology)
hacking and deconstructing existing products (democratisation)
algarithms, computerprograms in a true form.
design a system, service or product with a sensor and a actuator in the context of your projec:
select the components
design a electronic circuit for it and draw a detailed electronic circuit diagram
make calculations concerning the power (W) voltage (V) current (A) and the costs of these components.
